Welcome to Mrs. Wolf's Class

class

 We are starting a novel this week called The Great Gilly Hopkins.  This  is a realistic fiction about about a girl named Gilly, living in foster care.  She is a tough , sometimes offensive, girl  who is struggling to find a place where she belongs and can call home.  At the beginning, she is sent to live with a family and tries her best to  "run the household" with her schemes and behavior.  Ask you children about it!

This week we are doing our benchmark testing. Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest and a good breakfast! We want them at the peak so their true genius shines through!

Next Thursday, March 24th, our class is going on a field trip to the Water Festival held at the Nixon Library. Thanks in advance to the parents who volunteered to chaperone this activity!

Please continue to check this website periodically for updates and for upcoming events. In addition, all of your child's homework will be noted daily. Also, links to resources, all spelling and vocabulary words will be listed on this site as a resource for your child.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your child's education!
Go Wildcats!
